Don’t stop using AI. Just use it safely.
This post is about encouraging small businesses to use AI to improve their marketing efforts without damaging their brand.
I am beginning to see many small businesses using AI to generate images of their products. The cropped image is a fish and chips restaurant using AI to show someone eating fish and chips. Don’t fall for this trap when using AI. You risk disappointing your customers when they see the product in real life, and it does not resemble what AI generated.
Here are a couple tips to help you out:
✅ Find a clean spot to take photos or get a light box from Amazon for clear photos with clean backgrounds. https://amzn.to/3KYrbLS #affiliatelink
✅ Not a graphic designer? Use a tool like Canva that is inexpensive and has great templates to drag and drop your photos into. You can also make great social and email images with their free version.
✅ Still eager to leverage AI? Instead of prompting AI to create an image of your product, have it create a background that your product can overlay. Or, leverage AI to help with your post copy.
